Snapshot & Merkle Root
When entries close, the complete list of qualified wallet addresses is frozen. We build a cryptographic Merkle tree and publish the root hash publicly to GitHub and community channels.
Future Target Block
We announce a future Ethereum Sepolia block number (for example, block #8,450,000) well before it is mined. Nobody — including the team — can predict or manipulate that block's hash.
Deterministic Selection
Once the designated block is mined on Sepolia, its block hash acts as the verifiable seed for a standard Fisher-Yates shuffle algorithm, deterministically picking 700 winners from the Merkle tree.

We provide a standalone open-source script. Anyone can run it locally with the published Merkle tree and block hash to verify every winning address in seconds.

- 100% Free Entry: No payment, purchase, staking, or financial contribution is required or accepted to qualify, enter, or win the raffle.
- Ethereum Sepolia Testnet Only: SqueekRunner Hamsters is an experimental collection deployed exclusively on the Sepolia testnet. Minting requires only free testnet gas obtained from public faucets.
- Zero Monetary Value: SqueekRunner Hamsters NFTs are digital testnet collectibles created solely for gaming fun and experimentation. They carry zero cash value, represent no equity or financial asset, offer no passive yield, and make no promises of economic return.
- 1 Wallet = 1 Raffle Ticket: Each unique individual and wallet address may submit at most one raffle entry. Duplicate entries from the same address will be disregarded.
- Anti-Cheat & Server Replay Verification: Scores must be achieved through authentic human gameplay. Every entry requires submitting the run's recorded replay inputs. The server recalculates the run physics and timing; runs that do not pass server verification are not counted, and obvious bot farms will be excluded.
- Disqualification & Sybil Prevention: The organizers reserve the right to audit submissions and exclude bot clusters, automated farming scripts, or malicious actors attempting to game the raffle.
- Public Schedule & Thresholds: The qualification threshold score, snapshot deadline, designated target block number, and mint dates will be announced publicly across official project channels.
- Rule Clarifications: Technical rules and anti-cheat thresholds may be refined or clarified prior to the snapshot to address exploits or anomalies; all modifications will be committed transparently to the project repository.

- No. SqueekRunner is completely free and playable right in your web browser without an account, wallet, or extension. You only connect a wallet if you beat the qualifying score threshold and wish to enter the raffle.
- Does entering the raffle or minting cost any money?
- Zero. Registering for the raffle requires only a free cryptographic message signature with zero gas. If you win a spot, minting on the Ethereum Sepolia testnet requires only free testnet ETH from public faucets.
- Why do I sign a message instead of sending an on-chain transaction?
- Signing an off-chain message (EIP-4361 (Sign-In with Ethereum)) verifies that you own your wallet address without costing any gas or broadcasting a transaction. It keeps entry instantaneous, frictionless, and completely free.
- Why is the raffle and collection on Sepolia testnet?
- SqueekRunner is a playful experiment built on the Squeekchain ecosystem. Operating on Sepolia testnet ensures a risk-free environment where everyone can enjoy the game and participate without financial barriers.
- What happens if the physical hamster wheel stops spinning?
- The game remains 100% playable! When the physical WHEELY9000 is stationary or telemetry is unavailable, SqueekRunner automatically runs at its balanced baseline speed. You can always run and set qualifying scores.
- How can I independently verify that the raffle draw was fair?
- Prior to the draw, we freeze all entries and publish the cryptographic Merkle root alongside an announced future Sepolia block height. Once that block is confirmed, its block hash acts as the random seed. Anyone can re-run the open verification script to confirm the exact winners.
- Can I enter with multiple wallets or automated bots?
- No. The raffle strictly enforces 1 wallet = 1 ticket. The server recalculates your run replay to verify the score and confirms that the run actually lasted its full duration, alongside captcha verification, wallet signatures, and rate limits. The organizers reserve the right to exclude obvious bot farms and abusive sybil clusters.
- When will the snapshot take place and when is the mint?
- Entries are not open yet. Applications will open once the qualifying score threshold is announced based on gameplay statistics. The snapshot timestamp, designated target block, and mint schedule will be published on official project channels.
- What is the utility of a SqueekRunner Hamster NFT?
- Hamsters are collectible digital badges celebrating early runners in the SqueekRunner experiment. They may unlock cosmetic runner skins in future updates, but carry zero monetary value, financial yield, or promises of economic returns.
- What score do I need to achieve to qualify?
- The qualifying score is currently marked as TBA while we gather gameplay statistics across different wheel speeds. Once announced, any run above that score unlocks the entry portal.
